Most kids don't quit lessons because they dislike music. They quit because lessons start to feel like homework: drills, pressure, and songs somebody else picked. We build each lesson around the songs and sounds the student actually loves. Technique, theory, ear training, and yes, even the drills get built through those songs, so practice feels like play and progress happens because they want to come back.
It works the same for adults returning to music. Voice students work with Alyssa, instrument and production students work with Thaddeus, and we both have the same first job: making music something you look forward to.
Alyssa teaches voice online and in-home for nearby students. Lessons build healthy singing, confidence, ear training, breath support, stage presence, and expressive song work.
Thaddeus teaches students to make real music early, then builds technique, chords, rhythm, theory, and creative confidence around songs and sounds they actually care about.

Beginner, returning adult, kid, singer, songwriter, or producer. The lesson structure changes based on what you want music to do for you.
Use a trial or intro first. If it is a fit, you choose the lesson length and weekly rhythm from there.
Both. For in-person lessons, you can come to our lesson space near Melrose or we can travel to you for lessons in your home in nearby neighborhoods. Online lessons are also available. In-person options depend on fit and scheduling.
Yes. One student might study voice with Alyssa while another studies piano or guitar with Thaddeus.
